The sixth instalment from London imprint Nuances de Nuit continues their run of interesting electronic music with four new cuts from exciting artists, James Andrew, Nathan Pinder, The Trip and Tip Top.
Heading up the EP is Nothing But Nice co-founder, James Andrew. Following stand out releases on his own imprint and music on Voigtmann’s Subsequent he provides the groove-filled pumper ‘Reality Call’, packed with bouncy energy and heaps of attitude. Next up is Nathan Pinder’s ‘Stutter’, lush synth lines accompany spacey delays and energetic organ stabs, perfect for a mid-set energy raiser.
On the B-Side London duo The Trip drop a huge hit of peak time energy with ‘Big
Trouble’ before Tip Top closes on ‘Control Alt Defeat’, a raw downtempo fusion of low swung analogue bass and spaced-out soundscapes.

Finally it consists of 6 artists: Nakashidze – Whose music represents many musical genres and unity of different stories , Nikola Kazimir & Audino Swiss mates who have already irritated nerves of many people, with their uncompromising sound ,DFO better known as Kozmana in our opinion his music is the rare case of bearing Georgian character through its sound, Sergo Chlauri – A physicist from Georgia, whose music is as mysterious and interesting as quantum physics. Track of Cobert – which will put you on a rollercoaster and you will not be able to escape from there easily. For their 4th venture, AGT Records presents the cosmic sounds of George T and his solar-sound-system explorations. Responsible for a multitude of club ready releases in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, you can find George Thomson’s aliases in the catalogues of legendary labels such as NRK Sound Division, Stickman Records and Glasgow Underground. Thomson’s sound is a warped fusion of disco, electro and tech-house, splicing together influences from the US tribal and UK tech house scenes that were prevalent in that golden era of electronic dance music.
This is on display with ‘Some Lunar Pursuits’, as across the EP you find driving, jet-fuelled basslines that lift the tracks off the ground, while ‘Baby’ and ‘Silver’ throw about snappy percussion and dubby, reverb-drenched vocals that bring you back down to Earth and back onto the dancefloor. ‘Bass Chase’ provides a stripped-back bass heavy weapon to switch up the vibe, and title track ‘Lunar Pursuits’ is made for the afters as nostalgic synth lines float around alien house stabs, sending you back into the skies and beyond.
AGT Records is putting this one back into the stratosphere, all in good time.
