For our first ever LP we proudly present INTRO’s “Odyssey Of Shifting Emotions”. A collection of tracks recorded in the 90’s by the Madrid based legends Francisco & Nacho Sotomayor. Before moving into various musical realms, the pair had been quietly honing their craft for years. Meticulously programming near perfect drum loops and placing them onto subtle layers of otherworldly synthesis. The music inspires intro-mental journeys yet remains tinged with energy and emotion. These are the sorts of contrast that can be expected on this LP. While clearly sharing certain themes, each track brings its own ideology to the table, allowing this record to humbly fit in your bag on an array of occasions.

Toronto-based Hypnotic Mindscapes deliver 4 analog grooves for their eponymous vinyl debut. Founded by Cosmic JD and managed by a tight-knit group of artists, Vol. 1 explores the liminal spaces where electro paranoia meets 90s techno euphoria. Berlin-based Canadian Tro kicks-off the EP with a melancholic trip into a future where machine bleeps duet with FM chord melodies. A2 sees established Ecuadorian producer Nicola Cruz’ Fauna Extinta alias present an energetic modular outing that still maintains his dramatic flare and lightness of touch. On the flip, Berlin-based Ecuadorian Chicaiza delivers a skittering electro bomb with hints of vintage trance. Elusive Toronto live-act Payphone round-off the EP with a deep and cinematic tour of the cosmos.

On their new 12“, Obsession EP, Berlin-based duo CYRK expand on their unique permutation of sci-fi-inspired electro. The title track is another fine example of the brooding and cinematic atmosphere they have championed lately. Recalibration ups the ante significantly. It’s a fast-paced and tense dance floor smasher replete with screams and powerful howls by Berlin-based singer Sunru. In his remix, veteran producer The Hacker slows down the tempo and turns the frantic original into a slow-chugging lesson in new beat intensity. DJ LOUI on the other hand, strips away the layers of pads and focuses on the bass line of Obsession, turning it into a bare-bones rhythm track with an 80s twist.
