Four smacking deep house cuts from Enrico Mantini, whose nostalgia-tinged glasses are cast all the way back to 1992, when the bulk of his ‘unreleased gems’ were produced. All set to tape and nearly forgotten, the vibe of these bits is unparalleled, recalling the rough n’ readiness of our two favourite Todds, Terry and Edwards. ‘U Feel It’ waterfalls through resampled soul sample cut-ups, while ‘Loca’ continues to bubble outwards via a restrained organ and 808 hue. Sexy, Mr. Fingery styled basses ensue on the cloudier ‘Life Wine’, while ‘Can’t Take’ closes on dubbier and grottier territories

A very well respected mainstay in the Spanish Techno scene, Alex’s career spans 3 decades under different production aliases and releases on seminal labels like F-Com, Klang Elektronik, PIAS, Cosmos Records, Minifunk, Boozoo, Pagoda Recordings, many of which are now sought-after collectors material.
Alex is a very good friend of the label since long and a while ago he shared with us his DAT archives filled with unreleased material from the early years of his career. It took us a while, but we are now ready to give him the rightly deserved space on our Secret Sun series.

Kreisless first release kicks off with four minutely worked tracks by Berlin based artist Goris Lecker. A trip through acid sounds synth melodies, energetic rhythms along with deep enticing atmospheres. Starting with Nonsaude, a prominent breakbeat enriched by a subtly distorted bass and an euphoric stab. Followed by Frust switching to a dark late-night mood where techno sounds hoard the track. On the B side jazzy Rhodes chords show up with Donin where a hypnotic 303 synth loop takes the lead. Ceibo culminates the record with a sound journey of melodies and effects.
