  On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the release of the Mysteries of Science compilation. Mysteries of Science aka Dominic Woosey was a fixture of the ambient, ambient house and trance scene in the late 80s until the mid 90’s. These selections have been carefully chosen to show the timeless sound crafting Dominic was capable with his wide array of sound modules. They range from space music, ambient to a proto-techno and back again. In the vein of Berlin School ambient or Tangerine Dream type sequencing, but made during the post rave world of the early 1990s during the chill out era. Tracks to search the stars with! All of them are here for the first time on vinyl and were chosen in this order for the best listening experience.

  Next up we have the exceptional talents of Darren Nye fresh off the back of his superb LP on Childhood Intelligence.
  ‘Beyond The Stars’ (+ +) has 90’s techno and electro at its core with just the right amount of intergalactic magic.
  On the flip we welcome back Mihail P with ‘Past Lives’ (-) a slice of pure Detroit inspired brilliance from our man in North Macedonia.
  To close the EP label co-head Spin Fidelity sets the machines to warp dive with ‘To Tha Outta Limits’ (- -) a driving techno track perfect for that 3am boost of high octane energy.

  For their second release, the Dublin-based label Space Shepherd follows through with this killer EP by D&S – comprised of two Dutch young men named Dennis and Stephan. Here the Rotterdam-based duo present four live jams produced entirely on hardware and taking in influences from Detroit as well as early British IDM. We were really feeling the futuristic aesthetic of high tech soul epic ‘Approaching Events’, the ominous electro sci-fi of ‘Historical Synopsis’ and the emotional sunset breaks of the title track – which ended this riveting EP on a perfect note.
