RELEASE INFO:
For the next instalment of The Bricks, Anna Wall has curated a second VA that brings together artist from all corners of the globe.
The A-side is by Santiago Uribe; he’s been living in Montevideo for fourteen years and is an integral part of the ever growing scene in Uruguay. Uribe made ‘Electro Metalero’ as a nod to industrial music, the resounding chords were created on the Nord Lead 2 alongside powerful drums and his own pitched down vocals.
LVCA aka Luca Cazal was born in Milan and currently resides in Barcelona. He created ‘Lethe’ – meaning the river of oblivion in Greek mythology – as a live hardware jam with his trusted analogue machines 707, 303, 101, Juno 60 and Eventide H3000 for the finesse. The track is an emotive and musical journey expressed through the voices of machines.
Growing up in Cherkasy, central Ukraine, Radiant Futur has lived in Kyiv for the last six years. The ‘Third Operator’ track is a story about the interaction of two objects and a third force affecting them. “This unknown is simultaneously mystical, magical, and incomprehensible but just as inseparable as time from space. This is a story about a dualistic concept of a fantastic world of people and machines, which surprisingly has a third element – the environment where everything happens.” explains Ian Yeromenko aka Radiant Futur.
The Young Adults duo are from The Hague and have been cultivating their sound since 2020. ‘Transfusion (200 μg/L)’ was created with the Orbit 9090 and various other gear including the Korg ESX and the Digitone. They wanted to strike a balance between trance music and genuine emotion, all grounded by a timeless groove. “The goal of the track is to draw you into an introspective, emotional
trance” explains Jeff and Timo of Young Adults.

For their second release, the Dublin-based label Space Shepherd follows through with this killer EP by D&S – comprised of two Dutch young men named Dennis and Stephan. Here the Rotterdam-based duo present four live jams produced entirely on hardware and taking in influences from Detroit as well as early British IDM. We were really feeling the futuristic aesthetic of high tech soul epic ‘Approaching Events’, the ominous electro sci-fi of ‘Historical Synopsis’ and the emotional sunset breaks of the title track – which ended this riveting EP on a perfect note.

Helena returns with its 7th release, this time from Uruguayan alchemist Fede Lijtmaer.
Each of the three originals shows off his flair and musicality, be it the switch-up drum patterns and delicate keys of ‘Só Um Momento’, the more deliberate swagger of ‘Serendipia’ or the mutating synth line that weaves its aleatoric way through ‘Somewhere’ – everywhere shades of Steve Pickton, Casey Tucker, and other early UK proponents of the Detroit sound.
Finally, compatriot and friend Z@P remixes ‘Somewhere’, taking familiar but unexpected elements (Chicago house drums and Mathew Jonson synths) and turning them into something entirely modern.

Kreisless first release kicks off with four minutely worked tracks by Berlin based artist Goris Lecker. A trip through acid sounds synth melodies, energetic rhythms along with deep enticing atmospheres. Starting with Nonsaude, a prominent breakbeat enriched by a subtly distorted bass and an euphoric stab. Followed by Frust switching to a dark late-night mood where techno sounds hoard the track.
