RELEASE INFO:
Matthew delivers a full excursus throughout contemporary beats, modern trance and underground anthems.
Opening the EP is Horizonte, an acid-trance cut with a twist of Goa. Any elements are wisely mixed up creating a perfect contemporary club track. The title track Centroterra is a mélange of dark and introspective atmosphere, with a meditative / tribalist vibes and broken beats supporting the tension.
The B side starts with Variant Intelligence, a 4/4 cut with a sci-fi mood and prog build up that takes You back on a clubby mood… Can you recall that?
The closing track Everything Matters brings has a robotic retro feeling with breaks and some melancholy acid vibes to fold it up perfectly. The evolution is long and delicate, the layers are intricated but distinct, making the listeners dive into a wide array of emotions.

Mysteries of Science aka Dominic Woosey was a fixture of the ambient, ambient house and trance scene in the late 80s until the mid 90’s. These selections have been carefully chosen to show the timeless sound crafting Dominic was capable with his wide array of sound modules. They range from space music, ambient to a proto-techno and back again. In the vein of Berlin School ambient or Tangerine Dream type sequencing, but made during the post rave world of the early 1990s during the chill out era. Tracks to search the stars with! For their second release, the Dublin-based label Space Shepherd follows through with this killer EP by D&S – comprised of two Dutch young men named Dennis and Stephan. Here the Rotterdam-based duo present four live jams produced entirely on hardware and taking in influences from Detroit as well as early British IDM. We were really feeling the futuristic aesthetic of high tech soul epic ‘Approaching Events’, the ominous electro sci-fi of ‘Historical Synopsis’ and the emotional sunset breaks of the title track – which ended this riveting EP on a perfect note.
