RELEASE INFO:
Impulse Translation is the intergalactic alias of Minimono aka Ennio Colaci and Fabio Corcos, the Florence-based megaminds behind Bosconi Records. Having conquered the physical plane with nearly 20 years of their own productions and 50 Bosconi releases, the duo set their sights on untapped regions of synth and rhythm exploration for this custom-built journey through innerSpace. Ennio and Fabio’s studio experimentation reaches new heights in the euphoric, beautifully-layered synth crescendos of Mirror Image and Aural Ensemble–perfect highpoints for blissed-out capital-m dance floor Moments. Echo Triggering packs enough beefy bottom end and wonky synth sequences to exit mental orbit and Soft Tension will leave them drifting through the twilight wondering “which way is up?”.
This 12” is packaged in a recycled cardboard sleeve and bears the standard-issue TerraFirm sticker with tasty flavor text. We hope you enjoy this melodious excursion into the unexplored outer zones of modern machine funk.

A very well respected mainstay in the Spanish Techno scene, Alex’s career spans 3 decades under different production aliases and releases on seminal labels like F-Com, Klang Elektronik, PIAS, Cosmos Records, Minifunk, Boozoo, Pagoda Recordings, many of which are now sought-after collectors material.
Alex is a very good friend of the label since long and a while ago he shared with us his DAT archives filled with unreleased material from the early years of his career. It took us a while, but we are now ready to give him the rightly deserved space on our Secret Sun series.
