    The second in a series of self-released Liquid Earth Physical Records, “The Breakdown” is a front flip into curbside clubbing.

    The Aside offers two impeccably tight mixes of the 12” title tune, both providing different licks of pleasure for the casual clubber. “Charms Of Gaia” is forward leaning, equipped with big room, big energy type vocal breaks. “Trips & Skips” is an ode to the stripped down wigglyness of one of UK Tech House’s greatest, Nathan Coles – a clear influence of Mr. Earths.

    From here, we are sat next to the two black sheep of the 12” on what seems like the most pleasurable road trip of a record. B1 being the beefed-out break tune titled “The Closer” and B2 the straight and narrow slammings of “Cobblestone Stomper,” a track surely given its holy legs by the OG Jerusalem Cruiser.

    What you won’t find on this record is senseless filler, instead, you’ll surely be pumping your face with the permanent botox that is Liquid Earth. Now let’s see that smile!

    Duality Trax first opened its books in 2020 with an EP featuring Radiant Love regular Fio Fa and a remix of the year contender coming from Lisbon’s Violet. Since then the label has become known for its acute attention to detail, giving each release the shine it deserves while avoiding disposable practices and challenging the industry through its dedication to duality and balance, whether that be sonically or surrounding gender identity. It’s really no surprise that one of house music’s leading label ¦gures Tywi was destined to make an appearance. Having started the Haŵs imprint in his home city of Cardiff, the label’s wide-spread popularity began to gain the attention from some of the industry’s most respected heads and became a breeding ground for new artists to emerge.     Raised on the seemingly ingrained House sound of Cork (Ireland) and its heavy influence by renowned and revered House heads Fish Go Deep and their Sweat Nights at the legendary Sir Henry’s Club it was an inevitable progression for BALMR to follow the path of producer and DJ.

    Over the past decade he’s releases his material on the likes of Nordic Trax, Kolour Detroit, Expanded Records and more, as well as hosting his own Down Right Deep Show on Deep House Radio.

    The legacy of the UK’s prolific Alien Recordings lives on with another classy four track EP.
    Andy Panayi, Alec Stone and Rob Collman have been pivotal in shaping electronic music for decades. Their raw aesthetic formed Alien Recordings’ identity in the 90s, releasing timeless music from their several projects A², SKAT and Stopouts.
    The humble London collective are behind many influential records from tech-house’s golden era, pushing an infectiously groovy sound perfect for many scenarios.
    After connecting with the MASS crew in Leeds shortly before Andy’s passing, this release is a heartfelt tribute presenting four unreleased gems recorded between 1996 and 2010.

    The First Release from Mtkvarze Records (MTKV001) brings together three of the most interesting Producers from the Mtkvarze club’s 2023 season. on A1 first track is from Sohrab, Mtkvarze’s Resident Artist now based in London, known as a truly gifted Producer with his hard-wired ability for dark melodic flair. The second track is crafted by one of the brightest Producers from Tbilisi, – Cobert, who has released almost 10 vinyl on labels such as Minibus, Amazing Stories, Partisan, 3n0 Records, Mung Records and Casa Voyager. The B side contains two tracks from Levan Grdzelidze, the mastermind behind the independent label Glispy Records, which has quickly gained recognition since its establishment back in 2021 and has already published six releases.
